Children are a gift from the Lord. Psalm 127:3

Your Child is important to us! We want to provide your child with a caring and secure environment where they can experience God’s Love through our specially created spaces and our loving volunteers.

Nursery (New Born-4 years)

Our desire is to provide a safe and fun nursery for your children. Everyone who comes into regular contact with children is screened utilizing a state and federal third party background check service. It is our desire that when families come to Grace Community Baptist Church they are well cared for, encouraged, and protected to the best of our ability.

Our trained nursery volunteers enjoy spending time with babies and toddlers. They provide safe, caring, and clean environments where your child can feel reassured. The nursery volunteers make a seasonal commitment to the ministry which is intended to help your child feel safe, secure, and known as they are surrounded by familiar faces.

We have portable cribs, a variety of toys that change seasonally, and a basic lesson for older children which is taught individually introducing basic concepts of God’s love for them.

Sunday School (5 years-6th grade)

Our goal is that children are taught what it means to have a relationship with Jesus through our trained volunteers, helpers, facilities, and materials. Our vision is to see children mature into teenagers with a faith that is firmly grounded in God’s Word, evident in their peer and family relationships, heart for service, and passion for reaching the lost and overall desire to be pleasing to God.

Children’s Church

After a time of family worship, the younger children are dismissed from the worship service a bit early to enjoy kid-friendly learning time utilizing activities, crafts, and games, all with the purpose of helping children to learn and grow spiritually.

Health and Wellness

Volunteers adhere to a strict standard in maintaining a clean nursery, through such means as weekly washing toys, and washing and disinfecting their hands and changing stations after each use. All swings, play equipment, and large toys are routinely sanitized as well to help ensure a clean environment.

Policy for Sick Children

We have a well child policy. For this reason, we ask that a child who appears to be sick not be left in our care. They will be more comfortable at home, and this will prevent other children from becoming sick. If a child is found to be ill while in our care, you will be notified so that appropriate action can be taken.

If your child has had any of these symptoms, please do not bring them to church: Fever in last 24 hours, a rash, green runny nose, diarrhea, or conjunctivitis (pink eye).
