Jonah’s story ends on a heavy note, calling both him and us to examine our hearts as we consider what is most important, our comfort, or our mission.  God has called us to mission, but we pursue comfort.  This dramatic ending should cause us to make a dramatic change.

We can’t run far enough, we can sin bad enough, we cant disobey enough. God won’t give up on us!

Jonah spent three days in the belly of the great fish, but did it really change him?  This beautifully written passage explores the depths to which God will go even when we run from him.  God never gives up!

Sharing Love and Joy Is Better than Acting Religious Acts 2:43-47

As Christians we sometimes retreat to the rules and regulations of religion to avoid the mess of relationships. God hasn’t called us to follow rules, he has called us to a relationships for a purpose.
