Serving God, Serving Others

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

1 John 3:16

Serving God and serving others is essential to growing as a disciple of Jesus. When we serve others sacrificially, giving of our time, talents, and skills, we are also serving the Lord by serving His people.

There are many ways to serve others. Some of them are formal and a part of church programming, but many others are not. Keep an eye out for those around you who might benefit from your service, and take two bold steps to serve others.
