Katie is a follower of Jesus Christ who is passionate about making disciples and promoting biblical literacy. She is a member of West Salem Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon, where she serves in the areas of women’s & children’s discipleship. Katie is married to Sergio, who is the Senior Pastor of West Salem

Retreat Workshops
Choose one workshop for each hour! First hour choose between #1,2,3. Second hour choose between #4,5,6.
1. Fall Craft Pumpkin - Join Korri Miller in making a beautiful fall decoration using puzzle pieces.
2. Painted Ornament - Join Anna Hadley in making a Christmas ornament using wood slabs.
3. Chat with Katie - Enjoy coffee, tea, games or chat with our Speaker Katie Aguirre.
Workshops 1, 2, 3
4. Resin Dry Flower Earrings - Join Abby Lewis and learn to make earrings that will be a true work of art with dry flowers and resin.
5. Sourdough Making - Join Nicole Efinger to learn the basics of making sourdough bread.
6. Bible Journaling/Art - Join Jeanette Dickau who loves Bible journaling and ”arting” in her Bible every day. Learn to do the same as she shares her passion during this workshop. “It’s literally changed my life!”
